“Do not let what you going through, what you’ve been through, what people think you will amount to be you!”
Most of us have fallen by reason of hurt, or sickness, or even previous losses and let us be honest did you really take time to check the scratches and wounds you got from that fall?
One of my close cousin once said to me, a time back when I thought my life was done and everything seemed just too much for me, “sometimes after a very hard fall, we tend to get up and start running again, we forget to dust ourselves, deal with whatever wound we incurred and then, only then start walking or running again”
I know I did that in my childhood I just didn’t have time to deal with that, I had other pressing matters, like sucking all the hours left for play lol. But, have you realized at bath time you would start feeling all sorts of pains from all sorts of points on your body? Somebody? Anybody? you know you’ve experienced that before (surely, I cannot be the only person who played that much as a child).
That is exactly what happens in adult – emotional/mental life! We experience that hurt or that bad incident and we neglect the “dusting ourselves off” part. And sometimes if not, most times we carry that into all areas of our lives, and start feeling the effects at a later stage.
DUSTING OFF AND CARING FOR THE WOUND
You probably thinking where do I start? How do I do it? Simple answer; allow God to reveal your wound areas and ask Him to deal with those areas. Let me let you know, it will require a lot of honesty, submission and patience. The bible says He close to the broken-hearted, healeth and bindeth up their wounds (Psalms 147:3).
You should know this though! Our God is a God overflow, not only will He heal and care for that wound, He will set you on the right course and you will live a life like you’ve never missed a step. I’ve seen it happen in my life. I still ask myself today concerning certain experiences I’ve had “How did I get over this!”
This should be a call for you! Rise up from the ashes woman! You may be bruised, but that shouldn’t stop you from living! Let God deal with the wound and you deal with living out your purpose and making impact in your world, for God’s Glory! Step on serpents right now with those bruised heels.
Serpents could represent a lot of things for you! Serpent could mean a sickness! Serpent could mean a limitation! Serpent could mean a fear of chasing your dream! Serpent could mean generational curses or mindsets.
Crush the heads of those serpents! Keep stepping!
I really trust this post will inspire you and cause you to reflect on things that are indirectly affecting you and trying to stop you from being excellent. Most of us don’t want to deal with this, but dealing with it will make you realize how God has made you strong (Ephesians 1:18 - 22) you will be enlightened to the greatness He has put in you. I know most Minister of the Gospel will rather have us opt to just move on, live and concentrate on the Word of God. That is what is expected but, sometimes doing this without dusting off and dealing with the wound will get us back to that fall the is a lesson to be learnt.
Learn the lesson! Keep stepping and crush those serpents head (referencing: Genesis 3: 15)
GOD LOVES YOU AND THE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!
